Refund and Returns Policy

At Brand Maratha, we strive to ensure a smooth and fair shopping experience for our customers while supporting our sellers. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return Window

Customers may raise a return request within 2 days (48 hours) from the date of product delivery.

Requests raised after this window will not be accepted.

2. Exchange Window

Exchange requests must be raised within the same 2-day window from the date of delivery.

3. Eligible Reasons for Return / Exchange

Returns or exchanges will be accepted only under the following conditions:

• Damaged product received
• Manufacturing defect
• Wrong product delivered
• Missing items in the order
• Size or fit issues (where applicable)

Returns for reasons outside the above list will not be entertained.

4. Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement

For claims related to:

• Damaged product
• Manufacturing defect
• Wrong product delivered
• Missing items

A clear and continuous unboxing video is mandatory.

The video must:

• Start before opening the package
• Clearly show the product and issue
• Be unedited

Claims without valid video proof may be partially refunded or rejected.

5. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Categories

The following categories are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, unless received in damaged or defective condition:

• Innerwear & intimate apparel
• Precious metal jewellery
• Custom-made / made-to-order products
• Accessories (earrings, nose pins, etc.)
• Products marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page

6. Return Pickup Responsibility

For eligible return or exchange cases, Brand Maratha will arrange reverse pickup through its logistics partners.

7. Refund Initiation Trigger

Refunds will be initiated only after the returned product is received by the seller and passes quality inspection.

8. Refund Duration

Once approved, refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days.

9. Refund Mode

All refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used during checkout.

No cash, wallet, or alternate refunds are permitted.

10. Exchange Handling

• Customers are allowed a maximum of 2 exchanges per order.
• If the customer is not satisfied even after 2 exchanges, a refund will be issued.
• If the requested exchange size or variant is unavailable, a refund will be initiated.

Reverse Shipping Deduction (Post Exchanges)

In such refund cases, reverse shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

Refunds will be processed 2 days after the product is received at the seller’s end.

11. Partial Refunds & Rejection Conditions

Brand Maratha reserves the right to partially refund or reject a return under the following scenarios:

• Tags missing → Partial Refund
• Product used or washed → Refund Rejected
• Packaging damaged → Partial Refund
• Insufficient evidence provided → Partial Refund

12. Order Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it, provided the order has not been shipped.

Once shipped, cancellation is not allowed.

13. Seller Role in Returns

By selling on Brand Maratha, sellers agree that:

• Sellers must accept returns on eligible items
• Sellers bear the cost of returns for defective or wrong products
• Brand Maratha has final authority on approval or rejection of return/refund requests

14. Fraud Prevention & Abuse Control

To maintain fairness, Brand Maratha reserves the right to:

• Limit returns for accounts showing abnormal or excessive return behavior
• Suspend accounts involved in repeated misuse of return/refund policies
• Reject suspicious or fraudulent claims based on internal investigation

15. RTO (Return to Origin) Orders

For RTO orders:

• Refunds will be processed by Brand Maratha
• Forward shipping + RTO shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount
• Refund will be initiated 2 days after the product is received at the seller’s end

16. Final Authority

In case of disputes, decisions will be taken by a case-by-case internal committee, and Brand Maratha’s decision shall be final and binding.
